Konavle is a well-known wine region located approximately 30 kilometers from Dubrovnik. It is most famous for Dubrovnik Malvasia, a cherished local wine. Every September, the grape harvest is celebrated with a special gathering — a perfect opportunity to experience local traditions, winemaking techniques, and delicious regional cuisine.

The program begins with a visit to the vineyard, where guests are welcomed with local drinks and a traditional dessert. An introduction follows, including details about the day’s activities, grape-picking techniques, and a short presentation on Konavle, the rural estate, and Dubrovnik Malvasia.

Guests are then provided with the necessary tools, divided into groups, and the grape-picking adventure begins. In addition to harvesting, there will be various surprises and activities, culminating in a traditional outdoor lunch featuring local specialties.

After the harvest, the grapes are transported to the wine cellar for processing. With music playing and tastings of wine and grape must (freshly pressed juice), guests are introduced to both traditional and modern winemaking techniques — rounding out an unforgettable day in the heart of Konavle.
