Our Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Rental Terms’s Website, located at www.dubrovnikculinarytours.com

Gourmets of Dubrovnik is a travel web portal owned and operated by Lord Ragusa Ltd, a travel agency based in Dubrovnik, Croatia (License Number: HR-AB-20-060347612, Tax Number: 34951343795).

1. Booking Conditions

All services are subject to availability. When you make a booking with us, you are making an offer to purchase one of our advertised services. All bookings must be made by a person aged eighteen years or over.

If your booking is for more than one person, the first-named individual (the “lead name”) must be aged eighteen years or over and will be responsible for all payments and communication with us.

Completion and submission of our Booking Form will be treated as confirmation that you have read, understood, and accepted all our Terms and Conditions.

2. Payment

At the time of booking, you will be notified of the price of your tour or package.

A non-refundable deposit — typically 30% of the quoted price — must be paid at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before the departure date.

In some cases, depending on the nature of the booking, a higher non-refundable deposit may be required.

If the balance is not received by the due date, your booking may be treated as cancelled, and cancellation charges will apply.

Payment methods:

Bank Transfer: Payment can be made directly to our bank account in Croatia. The Agency will cover its own bank charges, but the customer is responsible for their bank’s transfer fees.

Credit Card Payment: (MasterCard, Visa, Maestro) managed securely through Stripe or PayPal. A 2.5% processing fee will be added to the total booking value for credit card or PayPal payments.

3. Prices

All prices quoted in our brochures, on our website, or in promotional materials are accurate at the time of publication and are listed in Euros (€). Should there be any changes in pricing, we will inform you prior to confirming your booking.

Prices may depend on the number of participants; if numbers fall below a required minimum, we reserve the right to adjust the price or cancel the booking up to 30 days before departure.

4. Cancellation by us

We reserve the right to cancel the trip for reasons beyond our control. A full refund will be made but we accept no responsibility for further compensation. If such cancellation is due to ‘force majeure’ (inclusive of war, civil or political unrest and natural disasters) reasonable expenses we have incurred will be deductible from any refund. Any compensation and refund is strictly limited to monies paid to us. We are not liable for any expense you have incurred as a result of your booking.

5. Cancellation by you

Cancellation fees, if any, will be determined with reference to the date on which notice of cancellation is received by fiore tours and are expressed as a percentage of the total price paid for the cancelled tour, product or service (excluding any insurance products and booking amendment fees). Cancellations must be made in writing. The following cancellation fee will apply:

from reservation – 60 day before departure: deposit only

less than 14 days before departure: 100% of the total trip cost

6. Our Liability to You

We are committed to providing services with reasonable care and skill. If you suffer loss or damage due to our negligence, we may accept liability (subject to these Terms & Conditions).

Acts or omissions of third-party suppliers

Death, injury, or illness unless caused by our negligence or that of our agents/suppliers

Issues caused by conditions outside of our control

Special requirements (dietary, medical, etc.) must be communicated at the time of booking; while we will do our best to accommodate them, we cannot guarantee full compliance.

7. Your Responsibility

You must ensure that you and your party have valid passports, visas, and necessary vaccinations. We reserve the right to refuse travel to any passenger behaving inappropriately (e.g., under the influence of alcohol or drugs, disruptive behavior) without any refund or compensation.Please note: Our tours often involve varying local conditions. We encourage guests to maintain a positive attitude and flexible mindset throughout their travel experience.

8. Complaints

If you encounter a problem during your trip, you must immediately notify the relevant supplier and our representative (or Lord Ragusa Ltd.). Failure to raise an issue on-site may affect your right to any compensation.Formal complaints must be submitted in writing to Lord Ragusa Ltd. within 7 days of your return, including all relevant details and your booking reference. In case of disputes, Croatian law and jurisdiction will apply.

9. Insurance

You are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, and all activities included in your tour or package.
